Every Thursday I write Baby Girl a letter – I want her to know she is loved, and precious!
To my darling Baby Girl,
I am so proud of you – to see how you, at the tender age of 7, are busy training your puppy. You have managed to teach her to sit, stay, look for a treat, and to not take what she should take (like your toys and my shoes). My darling, there are very few seven-year old little girls (and boys) who could train a puppy and work with a puppy the way you have been. It is awesome. In fact, it has taken me well into my adult life to work with a dog the way you work with a dog at the age of seven. You are confident, capable and so very intelligent, but more importantly you are kind and gentle. Your Dad and I love you so much, my darling, and we are very, very proud of you: Our Little Dog Whisperer…
