Okay, okay, I admit it – it was Pink Floyd. The old Pink Floyd – with Roger Waters. During my teen years, and even into my twenties, whenever I felt sad or depressed, I would listen to The Wall over and over and over again. In fact, I can still sing along with the album word for word even now. For some reason, it always made me feel better. One afternoon of Roger Waters and Pink Floyd, listening to The Wall, and I would be good to go for another couple of weeks. It doesn’t work now though, I have way outgrown that, but they did get me through some rough “coming of age” years.
Thank you Roger Waters.

P.S. I couldn’t handle Pink Floyd after Roger Waters left – it just wasn’t the same. In fact, just The Wall was the album that worked for me. And no, I didn’t smoke anything to make it more pleasant, it just lifted my spirits. Any happy pop chart music would make me want to kick something.
P.P.S. All that, and I’m still a Christian. Wow. 🙂
